Serigraph, also called silkscreen print, is a type of stencil print. It is a technique of printing ink using a silk screen on the printing plate. A silk screen is made of cloth such as silk or polyester, and the cloth is made into a part through which ink passes and a part through which ink does not pass to make a printing plate. Ink is applied to the part where ink passes, and it is printed on paper or cloth placed on the plate. With serigraph, you can also create original works that you would not think of as a duplicate print, by adding workmanship to the production of the plate. Although it is a relatively new printmaking technique that emerged in the 20th century, it is loved by many artists for its unique power of expression. Famous artists such as Andy Warhol and Takashi Murakami also produce serigraphs. It is one of the most popular and innovative printmaking techniques in the history of printmaking.

【古家具のお取り扱い注意点】
直射日光やエアコンに直性当たる場所には設置しないでください。
無垢の板は生きていますので 反る原因になります。
お手入れは基本乾拭きで。。水ぶきは避けてください。
艶を出したい時は ホームセンターなどで売っているワックスなどが有効です。
不明点は何なりとお尋ねください。
作業は工房にて実際ご覧いただけます。

「古いモノ」 と一言で言っても、４０－５０年前の昭和の品から、２００年を超える江戸時代の品までございます。
長い間使われてきたモノ達は、当然汚れやキズ、ヒビ、割れガタや落書き、塗装の劣化、虫食いなどの劣化があります。
これを「味わい」とするか、ただの「劣化」とするかは、使うオーナー様の考え次第です。
こうした劣化も時を経たモノ達ならではの証。
それが何十年という時を、生き残ってきた「証」と考えます。
仕上げれば、綺麗にはなりますが、新品のようにピカピカに仕上げてしまうと、 当時の風合、味わいが消え去ってしまいます。
積み重ねた「味わい」は、二度と復元できません。
当店では、キズや劣化、落書きも、使用上差し障りがあるもの、または外観上あまりにも見苦しいモノ以外は、
時代の「味」として、そのまま残してございます。
古いモノの味わいと風合がわかる方のみ。アンティーク品とご理解の上、ご購入願います。

A solid board is alive, so it will cause warping.
Basic cleaning is dry wiping. . Avoid splashing water.
When you want to make it glossy, wax sold at home centers etc. is effective.
