ある年の年末にそろりと世界に顔を出した感染症は、あっという間に人々を分断してしまった。今まで体験したことのない物理的な制約の中でも、ばらばらになってしまった個人と個人が共通の大きな困難を前に細々と、または大胆に繋がっていく（あるいはすでにあった繋がりを再発見する）様は、デジタルなせいかなんだか現実味がなく、目の前にしているのにまるで遠くから俯瞰して見ている気分だった。時間が経つにつれ慣れつつあるこんなに歴史に残りそうな事柄を、思っている以上にあった人との繋がりを、しっかり覚えておくためにも気付かされた色々なそれ（あるいは人そのもの）を線の細さ、長さや色、石の形で表現している。
No one can forget what came out into the world in the end of 2019. We were all suddenly torn away from each other under inexperienced restriction. But how people reached out to one another in such a fragile, or sometimes bold way (or maybe they just rediscovered their ready-made link between themselves), was somewhat surreal, perhaps because most of them were digital. I hated to see this fresh experience in such an era of history fade away in time. So with gratitude of so many people reaching or responding around me, each channel or person is expressed as shapes, lines and colour of each piece.
